A Kate Middleton-inspired dress is to be sold in value chain Peacocks for £14 from the end of December.
The blue wrap “Kate” dress is inspired by the £349 Issa dress in which Middleton wore to announce her engagement to Prince William and will go on sale in a selected number of Peacocks 550 stores on December 20.
This comes after the Tesco Middleton inspired £16 F&F dress sold out online after just one hour on sale last month.
Peacocks plans to provide more stock for its Welsh stores to “show signs of support” for Middleton’s likely married title, ‘HRH Princess Catherine of Wales’. Peacocks has also set up a ‘Waity Kaity’ waiting list for customers.
Peacocks head of ladieswear Antonella Bettley said: “What girl wouldn’t want to look like Kate? We are delighted to offer customers a version of this iconic dress at a fraction of the price. We hope women feel every inch a princess whether they choose to wear to a Christmas party, or whilst dropping the kids off to school.”
