Nike shuffles exec board under new chief executive

Nike has shuffled its senior leadership team under its new boss, announcing the appointments of a new chief operating officer and chief financial officer earlier this week.

The brand announced that long-serving chief operating officer Eric Sprunk would be departing the business on April 1, to be replaced by Andy Campion, who is currently chief financial officer. Campion will be succeeded by Matthew Friend, current vice-president of investor relations.

The sportswear giant also announced on Tuesday that president of Nike Direct Heidi O’Neill would be promoted to president of consumer and marketplace from April 1, succeeding Elliott Hill who will leave the business.
