N Brown has launched its first catalogue in the US as it continues to seek growth in international markets.

The home shopping group has launched its Simply Be catalogue to the US market with a website and Florida call centre. One million catalogues will be delivered from this week in the lead up to Christmas.

N Brown launched Simply Be in Germany last year and made £2.4m in its first 12 months

Its fulfilment centre will be in the UK with orders taking 7 to 10 days to reach US customers.

N Brown chief executive Alan White said: “This is a very exciting opportunity for N Brown allowing us to expand our international offering even further. At the moment there is not an equivalent to Simply Be in the US, where the plus size market is worth $34bn (£21.8bn). Simply Be will offer US customers a wide range of fashionable products at affordable prices and we expect they will find our Autumn Winter range very appealing.”
