Mango plans to open 13 new stores this year

The new stores will include cities such as Bristol, London, Manchester and Leeds. Mango will also open in Brighton for the first time.

One of the key arrivals opened on May 26 in Westfield Stratford City, London, which exclusively stocks the women’s collection and has a selling space of 4,800 sq ft.

In 2023 so far, Mango has opened new stores in areas including Solihull, Bristol and Leeds, expanding on the 53-store portfolio it had in 2022.

Later this year, more stores will also open in Milton Keynes, Glasgow and London.

The new stores will feature the Mediterranean-inspired store concept New Med to reflect the “spirit and freshness” of the brand, which will feature sustainable and natural materials.

Mango’s director of expansion and franchises Daniel López said: “The UK is one of the key markets for Mango’s international expansion.

“Our arrival this year in cities we have not been present in until now and in some of the largest shopping centres in the country will consolidate the Mango brand and allow us to strengthen our position internationally.”
