Marks & Spencer has announced that eco-conscious fashion brand Nobody’s Child, which it invested in at the end of 2021, will launch a series of pop-up shops in 30 M&S stores across the UK.

The 400 ft pop-up shops will be open from March until August this year and will offer a 30-piece capsule collection range of Nobody’s Child products including dresses, skirts, tops and jumpsuits, with prices ranging from £29 to £89.

Nobody’s Child is one of Marks & Spencer’s best-performing brands and is shopped by more than 300,000 customers annually, as well as accounting for two-thirds of its annual sales during the spring and summer seasons.

Marks & Spencer said the launch of the Nobody’s Child pop-ups in its stores will “complement and enhance the core range at M&S”, following a successful trial of the eco-fashion brand in 10 of its stores last year.

The pop-ups also support Marks & Spencer’s growth plans to expand its physical presence outside of London, including across Kent and Scotland.

The fashion retailer said the launch will boost the competitive advantage of its store estate and hopes to “scale the brand to new customers and encourage cross-channel shopping across the M&S ecosystem”.

Nobody’s Child follows in the footsteps of other retailers including Clarks Kids, Smiggle and Hype, which also launched in Marks & Spencer stores last year as part of its Brands at M&S strategy.

M&S managing director of clothing and home Richard Price said: “Nobody’s Child was the first third-party brand that we introduced to our ‘Brands at M&S’ platform and season after season, they’re loved by our customers.

“The pop-up shops put the best of the brand in front of our customers in store, at a time when they’re shopping for events and occasions over the spring and summer.

“Whether they have shopped Nobody’s Child previously on M&S.com or are discovering the brand for the first time, this is one of the many ways we’re becoming more relevant, more often to encourage shopping across the M&S ecosystem.”

Nobody’s Child chief executive Jody Plows added: “At Nobody’s Child, we are on a mission to offer beautiful, responsible products to every woman without costing the earth.

“M&S has been an integral partner to Nobody’s Child and we are thrilled today to announce the latest step in that collaboration.

“Launching Nobody’s Child pop-ups into 30 stores across the UK is a hugely exciting moment, and we can’t wait to showcase our spring/summer collection to M&S customers, both old and new, who are looking for elevated capsule pieces for any occasion.”
