Former Russell & Bromley retail director joins Jigsaw

Butler announced on LinkedIn that she had joined Jigsaw as retail director, having briefly worked for footwear retailer Russell & Bromley. Butler joined Russell & Bromley in September 2025; however, she left the retailer after it collapsed into administration in January. 

Before joining Russell & Bromley, Butler was global retail director at Trinny London for six and a half years. She was also previously regional manager at Space NK. 

Butler said: “Last September, I joined the British heritage brand Russell & Bromley as part of an exciting five-year reboot strategy. With so much opportunity across the business and the chance to shape the retail strategy with real autonomy, I was incredibly excited to join such a passionate and loyal community of people.

“During my time there, I had the privilege of working alongside some truly dedicated and talented individuals. Together, we delivered a strong Q4, and there was a real sense of momentum and belief in what the business could achieve.

“However, as many will know, the business entered administration earlier this year, which brought my time with Russell & Bromley to an earlier close than expected. While this chapter was short, it was a meaningful one, and I am grateful for the relationships built and the experiences gained during that time.

“Every chapter in our careers shapes the next, and I’m delighted that this one has led me to a new opportunity.

“I’m very proud to share that I have joined Jigsaw as their new retail director. I’m hugely excited to begin this next chapter with Jigsaw, working with the talented teams across stores and head office while contributing to the continued strength and future of this iconic British brand.”
