Eileen Fisher, which has 50 stores in the US, will debut in the UK at St Martin’s Courtyard, the shopping development in London’s Covent Garden, which opened in November.

The store, which covers 2,775 ft across two floors, will open in July and be the first shop outside the US for Eileen Fisher. It will open a second shop on Marylebone High Street by the end of the summer.

The premium brand is the latest US fashion retailer to make a play in the competitive UK market. Value fashion giant Forever 21 is rolling out stores in the UK while Anthropolgie has opened in high profile locations in the capital.

Joules, Twenty8Twelve, The White Company, Jack Wills, Banana Republic and Cos all have stores at St Martin’s Courtyard.

Fashion brand Barbour, famous for its wax outerwear, will open a store there in the spring.

Cushman & Wakefield advised Eileen Fisher and is joint letting agent for landlords Longmartin with Savills.
