Men’s tailoring retailer Charles Tyrwhitt operating profit grew 5% to £7.6m in the year to July 28, 2012.

Turnover climbed 25% to £98.4m.

The 14-store retailer, which opened one shop in the period, also sells via mail order and through its transactional website.

Growth was underpinned by focusing on its core product category of men’s formalwear and improving the distribution of mail-order catalogues, according to accounts filed at Companies House.
