As Second Hand September hits its fourth year, Retail Week looks at how new life is being breathed into the pre-loved fashion sector
Fashion etailer Asos will provide free delivery to all customers worldwide throughout the Christmas shopping season.
Free standard delivery will be available until December 14 to all global Asos customers. The UK-based etailer launched a US site in September, and French and German sites last month. It ships to 195 countries worldwide from the UK.
Asos international director Jon Kamaluddin said: “Asos is proud to announce this expansion of free standard shipping to our customers worldwide as global sales continue to be an increasing percentage of our business. It’s an initiative that will further add to the ease of shopping online for our customers throughout the optimum retail season.”
The etailer also announced it plans to open a new warehouse in Barnsley, Yorkshire next year which will create 1,000 jobs.
