But four stores are closed
Ailing fashion retailer Episode has been forced to close most of its remaining standalone stores as its management struggles to keep the brand running as a going concern.

The retailer went into administration last Friday, but yesterday confirmed that Episode (GB) sold its remaining concessions to its sister company, Episode (Europe), so they can remain open.

As a demonstration of its health, the retailer is today opening a concession in Dublin department store Arnotts.

Episode has concessions at House of Fraser, Jenners and Harrods. The retailer said: 'The UK management team and the group are committed totally to ensuring the ongoing success of Episode in the UK, by offering the top quality design, product and service that our customers have always expected us to deliver.'
