What makes the ideal Fonehouse employee?

Someone who is driven and works well as part of a team. In retail there is a real team ethic resulting in a passionate atmosphere with everyone working together.

What sets apart working at Fonehouse from your competitors?

Fonehouse is big enough to be recognised in the mobile industry as a key player but small enough to have a very flat management structure so anyone can get on the phone and have a conversation with any of the team at head office.

How do you strive to retain your staff?

Fonehouse is currently reviewing its whole benefits policy and will start the Investors in People Programme in 2011. However, currently we have a monthly training session at head office for all retail staff.

How do you ensure your employees have a good work/life balance?

We ensure staff stick to their schedules and don’t work late unless absolutely necessary.
