Jessops has returned to Merry Hill, Birmingham with its multi-service format boasting one-to-one tuition and photo printing facilities.

Jessops’ original Merry Hill store closed in 2013 when the camera specialist fell into administration, so it is a significant landmark for the retailer to return to the area with its 52nd shop.

The store at intu Merry Hill opened last month and offers Jessops’ full portfolio of services, including academy courses, rentals, trade-ins, sensor cleaning, one-to-one photography tuition, an on-site lab for photo-printing services and access to a range of cameras and accessories.

Jessops chief executive Neil Old said: “Our 12-strong intu Merry Hill team has been trained to the highest standard. When it comes to photography, we are confident that there is no other retailer that can offer our level of service, impartial advice, and passion for photography.”

The intu Merry Hill branch follows the same format as Jessops’ new Brighton store, which opened earlier this year.
