Comet administrator Deloitte has revealed further redundancies across the collapsed electricals retailer’s support operations.
A further 201 jobs have been cut in addition to the more than 1,000 already lost. Deloitte closed the retailer’s smaller distribution centre in Harlow, Essex today at the loss of 70 jobs.
A further 130 positions have been cut across the business’ support network in Skelmersdale, Clevedon and Hull.
Deloitte is still in the process of speaking to potential white knight Clive Coombes who originally wanted 180 stores.
