Music-inspired fashion e-tailer EBTM (Everything But The Music) has increased its turnover to £1.4 million after a year on the acquisition trail, but still made a loss overall.

In its preliminary results for the 62 weeks to April 30, the online store also reported a loss of£684,000, compared with losses of£426,000 on the same period last year.

This year, EBTM acquired Core Brands and the intellectual property rights to the Atticus clothing brand. It also signed licensing agreements with Adeline Street Clothing and Clandestine Industries.

Separately, it entered an agreement with Kerrang.com, the online element of a major music publication, to run a co-branded store on the site.

EBTM began trading in July 2005 and floated on AIM in March last year.
