Beds retailer says it is now top of the heap in the UK
Furniture retailer Dreams has claimed the top spot in the sector for itself. The retailer said that because it had grown its market share by 50 per cent, surpassing the£100 million turnover milestone, it is now the leading bed specialist for the UK. It puts its market share in the beds sector at around 10 per cent.
Dreams managing director Mike Clare said: Dreams has had another phenomenal year with both like-for-likes and growth showing substantial double figure-increases. We have continued to perform well in a particularly tough trading environment by concentrating on getting the basics right and giving the customers what they want.'
