Premium department store Selfridges has appointed Brian Hannon as director of food and restaurants and also promoted Mark Raban to finance director for Selfridges and sister company Brown Thomas.
Hannon replaces Ewan Venters who is set to join Fortnum & Mason next month. Hannon joins from restaurant and pub group Mitchells & Butlers, where he spent 19 years working in operations. He was most recently divisional director at its London-based metropolitan pubs division.
He takes up his new role on October 29.
Raban joined Selfridges in August 2010 from Global Strategies Group, where he was interim group director of finance.
