John Lewis Partnership has named Andy Mounsey as interim executive director of finance starting September this year.

Mounsey is currently the group finance and strategy director at John Lewis and has worked with the retailer in a host of senior finance roles for over a decade.
John Lewisâ present executive finance director BĂŠrangère Michel announced her exit from the business in April after 16 years.
At the time, Michel said she would be stepping down from her post in the autumn âto pursue her future career options outside of the partnershipâ.
Mounsey will join the partnershipâs executive team from July and officially take over from Michel on September 6.
John Lewis chief executive Nish Kankiwala said: âAndy is a highly experienced and valued member of our finance team, with a deep understanding of the partnership and the retail sector.
âI am delighted that Andy is able to support the partnership during this interim phase to ensure a smooth transition and our continued focus on executing against our transformation plan.â
Andy Mounsey said: âIâm incredibly privileged to be taking on this role. The partnershipâs finances are in a healthy position, enabling us to invest significantly across the business for our customers. Iâm looking forward to working with the board and executive team to continue our transformation journey.â
