Debenhams launches 25 per cent off Summer Spectacular

Debenhams has launched a Summer Spectacular offering discounts of up to 25 per cent in stores and online.The promotion will run for four days until Saturday.

A spokesman for Debenhams said that the promotion fell within the retailer’s planned marketing schedule and at the same time as last year.

Historically, Debenhams decision to launch a Spectacular has lead to a price-matching war on the high street among the department stores, with House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer both launching discount days and John Lewis matching prices with its Never Knowingly Undersold strategy.
