George Davies will operate two retail stores in Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium, priming Gooners to be the best-dressed fans in the Premiership.

The entrepreneur behind Next and Per Una has signed a deal through his S'porter business, which specialises in official branded merchandise for football clubs.

The multi-million pound business develops products, excluding team kit, for Davies' home team Liverpool, through two outlets and a mail order business. However, Davies, who had a trial for Liverpool in his youth, has set his team loyalties aside for the business venture.

He said: 'It's going to be great fun. It could be quite unique, because last year

Liverpool won the European Cup and Arsenal have got a chance of winning it this year.'

The business, founded in 1995, marries Davies' love of fashion with his love of football. His design influence is evident in the Liverpool women's fashion offer, which includes pink retro hoodies and team bikinis.

The Arsenal Emirates Stadium will seat 60,000 spectators and is to open in August.
