Sales value and volume increased in June, ONS reports
Retail sales by both value and volume edged up during the month of June, according to the latest Office for National Statistics retail sales figures.
Sales by value increased 4.3% during the period and volume in sales increased 3.8%, compared with the same month the previous year.
On a month-by-month basis, sales value increased 1.3% and volume increased 1%.
