The new Marks & Spencer print campaign will feature football legends Sir Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Roger Hunt and Gordon Banks and will include advertising for the retailer’s official Football Association (FA) suit, which will be worn by the England team during the World Cup.

The campaign will appear in national press on Friday in consecutive pages of newspapers to maximise its impact.

The first advertisement will show a group of players from the current England football squad wearing the M&S FA suit with a strapline that reads: “Three Lions, One Tailor”.

The next page will feature the 1966 players wearing the latest Collezione range with the strapline “Four Legends, One Label”.

Sir Geoff Hurst said: “The four of us getting back together has been very enjoyable. Looking at my three mates, these clothes have made them look 10 years younger”.
