US homeware chain Crate & Barrel is planning to bring CB2, a smaller version of its store, to the UK.
The retailer is in talks with UK landlords to find small 5,000 sq ft stores according to the Independent on Sunday.
Crate & Barrel had previously been reluctant to open in the UK due to high rents.
The homeware giant is just one of many international retailers eyeing the UK.
US outdoor clothing chain Marmot, Spanish young fashion retailer Coolway and Portuguese fashion group Sacoor Brothers are all set to open in London and the South east, according to the newspaper.
US giants Forever 21, American Eagle and Victoria’s Secret are all planning new stores across the UK.
