Capital & Counties deal covers 122 tenants
Property group Capital & Counties has bought Covent Garden Market from the Covent Garden Market Limited Partnership as part of a deal worth£421 million.

The sale includes the Covent Garden Market and piazza, as well as a number of properties in the surrounding streets. It covers 122 tenants and 146 leases.

Capital & Counties already owns£50 million of retail, office and residential space in nearby Long Acre and Floral Street.

Capital & Counties is the retail and commercial property subsidiary of Liberty International.
