Cheaper milk contributes to inflation fall
The Consumer Price Index, the Government's target measure for inflation, fell to 1.8 per cent in March from 2 per cent in February.

A drop in milk prices last month helped to reduce inflation. Milk prices fell by an average of 2p per pint while the cost of some vegetables also fell last month because of good supply levels.

Computer game prices fell following a rise in February. As a result of discounting by a number of retailers, digital camcorders also dropped in price.
