Houseology

Houseology is an online retailer of high-end interior design products, which was originally founded as Occa Home by Kate Mooney in 2010 to sit alongside her interior design studio. The site was rebranded as Houseology in May 2015. Along with a new ecommerce platform, the Houseology site features a number of innovative technologies and tools designed to inspire and advise customers on how to transform their homes. Houseology acquired commercial furniture firm Bureau in early 2017 and is developing it to utilise the new ecommerce platform. Houseology’s product offer spans designer furniture, lighting, home décor, bed and bath, cooking and dining, entertaining, outdoor furniture, and gifts. The range is curated by the etailer’s ‘houseologists’ with 500 new items added each month. Its experts also urge customers to get in touch if they can’t find a specific item. Houseology is looking to broaden its range to attract customers from lower income brackets too.
