The supermarket giant’s ‘However you do Christmas’ campaign builds on last year’s series of ads by showing a number of different families and friends enjoying seasonal get-togethers in different ways.

It features a composed version of Fleetwood Mac hit ‘Go You Own Way’ and showcases a host of Tesco products including its Finest free-range turkey, Finest Belgian chocolate and caramel trees, and Finest champagne.

Tesco chief customer officer Alessandra Bellini said: “We know our customers each have their own Christmas traditions to help them celebrate.

“Whether it’s choosing turkey or goose, a full vegetarian or vegan option, or having Yorkshire puddings with Christmas dinner, this year our campaign celebrates the festive favourites and little quirks that make Christmas so special.

“We want our customers to know that however they do Christmas, and no matter what they need, Tesco can help.”

Tom Drew from the ad’s creators BBH London added: “Tesco can truly tell the story of the nation’s Christmas and how brilliantly diverse it is. There’s no wrong way to do Christmas.”

The ad will run for the first time on ITV on Tuesday night.
