Aldi has launched a Christmas TV advert which claims its products are as good as those sold at upmarket department stores Fortnum & Mason and Harvey Nichols.
The discounter, which last week beat Fortnum & Mason in a Christmas taste test conducted by Good Housekeeping magazine, has released the advert in a bid to assure shoppers of its quality despite its low prices.
The advert is running under the strapline ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Aldi’.
