Jimmy Choo co-founder and celebrity high flyer Tamara Mellon has been snapped up by electricals retailer Comet to grace the pages of a book celebrating its 75th anniversary.

Mellon, more likely to be found on the cover of a fashion magazine than a book celebrating the Brits’ love of gadgets, joins a host of famous faces for the book, called Electric Dreams.

Mellon is pictured surrounded by a collection of coveted Jimmy Choo shoes with her Apple laptop.

Other celebs snapped with their dream electrical gadgets include James Nesbitt, Jodie Kidd, Bob, Peaches and Pixie Geldof and Sadie Frost.

All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for children.
