Carpetright has appointed AS Watson health and beauty finance and IT director Neil Page as its group finance director.
Neil, who has spent 17 years with Superdrug, as well as two years with Marks & Spencer, will join the carpet and floor coverings retailer in late summer.
The appointment follows yesterday’s news that AS Watson health and beauty chief executive Euan Sutherland will join B&Q as chief executive of its UK operations.
Carpetright chairman and chief executive Lord Harris of Peckham said of Page’s appointment: “I am delighted that Neil is joining Carpetright and I am sure he will add significantly to our senior team. He brings with him a strong retail finance background having had a variety of roles in a large retailing group over the last 17 years.”
