Luxury fashion retailer Burberry has moved into its new global head office in London’s Westminster.

The new Horseferry House building brings all of Burberry’s 850 London employees together under one roof for the first time, with 160,000 sq ft of space over eight floors, including showrooms and offices.

Burberry chief executive Angela Ahrendts said: “The cost and efficiency benefits were always planned, but the way our new space helps to unite the culture, improve communications and purify the brand are all added benefits.”

Creative director Christopher Bailey spearheaded the look of the interior of the building, which has been designed to mirror Burberry’s “quintessentially British values”.

Burberry’s head office had been based in London’s Haymarket since 1891.
