Vice-president poached from Liz Claiborne
Angela Ahrendts is to replace Burberry chief executive Rose Marie Bravo, it was revealed today.

Ahrendts will join on January 9 from US fashion brand Liz Claiborne, where she is executive vice-president. Ahrendts will be an executive director and become chief executive on July 1. Bravo will assume the newly created role of vice-chairman.

Angela Ahrendts brings diverse industry experience, strong leadership skills, strategic vision and proven brand management to the chief executive position.'
