Sir Harry Djangoly steps down at Carpetright
Carpetright non-executive director Sir Harry Djangoly has retired from the company today.

Sir Harry steps down from the company after 12 years as a director, in which time he served on the audit and remuneration committees, as well as being the senior independent director until last year.

The company's founder Lord Harris paid tribute to Sir Harry's work for the company. 'Sir Harry's wise counsel has been of great benefit to us over many years.'

Last week, Carpetright's finance director Darren Shapland stepped down to take up the same role at Sainsbury's.
