DIY giant trebles time allowed for shoppers to return goods
B&Q has launched a 90-day returns policy to replace its 28-day policy. As long as shoppers provide proof of purchase, they can now obtain a refund on a product for almost three months and the retailer says that it will be operating a 'no-quibble' service over the appearance of packaging on returned goods.

Previously, B&Q customers had to return merchandise as sold, including intact packaging. The new policy is being communicated via staff training, in-stores notices and online.
