Jeweller targets five openings in 2005
Contemporary jewellery Azendi has taken a new store in the Victoria Quarter in Leeds, and unveiled an expansion programme that will almost double its national chain with five new openings planned for 2005.

In Leeds it has taken a 10-year lease on a 1,300 sq ft (120 sq m) two-storey unit at 21 King Edward Street in Highstone Estates' Victoria Quarter. The initial passing rental is£75,000 a year with a three-month rent free period. Fawley Watson Booth and King Sturge were letting agents.

Azendi is now on the look out for similar sites across the UK. It already trades from Reading, Harrogate, York, Headingley and Edinburgh, Dresler Smith in England and Culverwell in Scotland are retained to find attractive buildings, with good head height in quality centres or high-end fashion pitches.
