Luxury jewellery etailer Astley Clarke is considering seeking further investment next year to bolster growth after like-for-like sales for its third year jumped 40%.

Growth plans include expanding the etailer’s overseas business, which currently accounts for 15% of its orders.

Astley Clarke is also seeking a new designer and creative director to add to its team to help drive forward own-label. This now represents 30% of the etailer’s offer and it wants to keep building this part of the business.

Customers on Astley Clarke’s database have increased by 100% like-for-like and it now attracts 100,000 unique users a month.

Although the etailer said that it has no immediate plans to expand into bricks and mortar, it added that it would consider opening one or two concessions next year.
