Asda has followed Tesco with the launch of a Jersey-based entertainment e-tail site. Accessible via www.asda.com, the Wal-Mart-owned retailer is offering an extensive range of more than 140,000 CDs, DVDs and games. Asda claims that if a product is available in the UK it will have it online. Asda general merchandise director Tony Page said: 'Whether it's from Schubert or Shania, grunge or garage we've got the titles customers want.' Being based in Jersey Asda offer products of less than £18 tax free.
