Asda is to offer customers flu jabs for just £10.

The price is the lowest available in the UK this winter, according to the grocer.

More than 150 in-store pharmacies in England and Wales will offer the jab from early November.

In partnership with mobile medical service, Doctorcall, Asda is taking appointments for the vaccinations on Saturday, November 8, between 10am and 6pm.

Asda's superintendent pharmacist John Evans said: "It's clear that thousands of shoppers appreciated the convenience of picking up their flu jabs with their fish fingers and fruit."

Asda was the first supermarket to offer flu jabs in 2002.
