High street concessionaire BMB has acquired the licence for US menswear brand Arrow and promises to unveil the collection in Allders stores by December.
The brand has a preppy, New England feel, and BMB chairman and chief executive Peter Lucas sees scope to develop a dedicated chain.
'We will initially distribute Arrow through the channels where we have expertise (independents and concessions), but I would not rule out Arrow standalones in the next three to five years,' he said.
Arrow has a presence in 40 countries, including standalone shops in France and Spain, although the label has not been available in the UK for a decade.
The 50-piece collection includes jeans for£45, polo shirts for£30 and jumpers for£50.
BMB is also developing a designer womenswear business. It struck a deal with designer Elspeth Gibson last month, and will launch Studio Jeff Banks conces-sions in 20 Debenhams stores this week.
