Sex toys retailer seeing bumper Christmas
Ann Summers has revealed its like-for-like sales for November rose 10 per cent compared with last year. The retailer's chief executive Jacqueline Gold said she expected sales lifts for December to be similar, bucking the trend for the sector as a whole, which has seen sales increase but on a much smaller scale. The retailer operates 121 stores in the UK and has a party planner sales force of 7,500 women.

The retailer listed its top 10 products for Christmas as:

  • Willy-shaped shortbread Hob Knobs

  • Siren lingerie

  • Load of Old Bollocks strawberry bon bons

  • Promise vibrator
