Firm picked as Princes Street partner
AM Development will assist in the redevelopment of Edinburgh's Princes Street.

Development manager AM has been chosen from seven contenders to represent the commercial property development sector in the retail-led redevelopment of Edinburgh's city centre.

AM UK managing director Paul Sargent said: 'We are delighted to have been selected. This is a wide role that represents the level of commitment shown by all key partners to making the city centre an even more stunning world-class arena.'

The next step for AM is to begin talks with tenants and property owners about their needs and then proceed with the redevelopment of Princes Street.

AM maintains it will be selective in the redevelopment and will retain important heritage buildings. The company has carried out more than 100 retail-led developments in the past 25 years across Europe.

AM's UK projects include the 800,000 sq ft (74,320 sq m) Victoria Square scheme in Belfast, and Summer Row in Wolverhampton, at 484,000 sq ft (44,965 sq m).
