Stores to continue trading as administrator puts bids under spotlight
Allders' administrator Kroll has received 36 bids for the department store chain, or parts of it. The deadline for offers is the end of today, but Kroll said it was unlikely any more would be submitted.

The bids will be assessed next week, along with a final list of companies that made an offer. During this process, Allders stores will remain open and will continue to trade.

Allders joint administrator Alastair Beveridge said: 'In general, trading during the week has continued to be better than during the same period last year, showing that customer support has been maintained during the administration process.'
