The finance director of ethical etailer Adili has left the business as part of a restructure.

The business, which now trades as Ascension, said that Mark Swire has left as part of its recent restructure to realign its cost base.

Swire has resigned as a director of the company with immediate effect but will continue to work in the business till the New Year.

Adili said: “We would like to thank Mark for his contribution to the company over the past three years and wish him well in his future career.”

The retailer is currently looking for Swire’s replacement.

In the year to April 30 losses at Adili widened to £1.9m from £1.58m the year before Sales grew 56% for the period to £552,000 and in the five months since its year end revenues have grown 29% on last year.
