This week saw the launch of premium menswear etail site Mr Porter.

The site, which went live on Tuesday, features more than 80 luxury brands including Ralph Lauren, Burberry and YSL across menswear, footwear and accessories.

Mr Porter, whose successful parent brand Net-a-Porter has been trading for more than 10 years, aims to combine strong editorial content with the best international designers. The appointment of former Esquire editor Jeremy Langmead as editor-in-chief was clearly a wise choice - the editorially led site contains a rich variety of content in The Journal - designed as an online magazine and style directory.

The shopping experience is excellent, a sleek design and well thought out navigation strikes the perfect balance between form and function. The product pages showcase images and video alongside all the information you could need in a way that doesn’t detract from the pieces.
