Next has opened its first dedicated shop-in-shop sportswear departments in three of its stores.
Next Sport – which launched on Church Street in Liverpool and at Lakeside and Meadowhall shopping centres – offers mens-, womens- and childrenswear sports clothing and footwear from brands including Adidas, Reebok, Puma and Asics, as well as its own brand NX Sport. It is the first time Next has made a major push into selling brands in its stores.
Next said it hopes to capitalise on those shoppers who like to combine sportswear with high fashion items. Boxing star Amir Khan (pictured) and heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis helped launch Next Sport in stores.
