SRG has appointed property agency Harper Dennis Hobbs to search for 2,500 sq ft (230 sq m) stores in high-profile shopping centre developments, including Westfield Londonâs White City scheme, Grosvenorâs Liverpool One development and Land Securities and Hammersonâs Cabot Circus in Bristol.
Harper Dennis Hobbs director James Ebel said: âWe have commenced a search for SRG, which is now considering opportunities in various cities for its expansion programme. SRG will only consider the very best retail locations and opportunities in shopping centres, high streets and outlets.â
The move follows SRGâs completion of its refinancing to create additional capital, as well as a shake-up of its management team. The fashion group, which also owns Racing Green, hired Steve Gipson as chief executive in June. He previously worked at Peacocks and Bhs.
The group also appointed Paul Rivers, from Watches of Switzerland and Mappin & Webb, as financial director, Anton Woodhouse, who was SRGâs interim chief executive, as company chairman and promoted buying and merchandising director Nick Keyte to the board.
