Tesco is poised to unveil that is has appointed House of Fraser’s Robin Terrell as its multichannel director.
Tesco is set to reveal the appointment tomorrow with its Christmas trading statement. It is also set to promote chief operating officer Chris Bush to UK managing director.
Terrell joined House of Fraser in 2010, having previously held senior roles at John Lewis, Figleaves and Amazon. Tesco declined to comment.
House of Fraser has reshuffled its board in the wake of Terrell’s exit to Tesco. Its director of ecommerce Andy Harding will fill Terrell’s shoes as executive director for multichannel.
The department store has promoted Nigel Oddy, previously executive director of group merchandise and planning, to chief operating officer.
House of Fraser has also promoted merchandising director Ysanne Jenkins to executive director, home and food and Peter Hearsey, currently director of legal services, will also join the board as executive director for legal and property.
