Asda opened its first two converted Netto stores on Tuesday in Wakefield and Worksop.

The rebranded Adsa Supermarket stores underwent £500,000 refits. Stocking more than 10,000 products, the shops offer about four times the number of products Netto sold, which Asda said would help customers complete a full weekly shop.

The stores have the same pricing as Asda’s larger stores.

All existing staff from the two shops have transferred to Asda, after completing training.

Asda has 147 Netto stores to convert, which it said would be completed by the end of the year.
