Two retailers including a new anchor tenant have signed for space at The Mall Wood Green in north London, while a third is moving to larger premises in the scheme.

Value fashion brand Primark is preparing to open a store in the scheme, owned by The Mall. It will take the scheme’s second anchor spot, a 75,000 sq ft double-level unit. It has now been handed the keys and will begin fitting out the unit by the end of July.

German discount supermarket retailer Lidl will also open in the scheme. It has taken a 14,500 sq ft store being vacated by New Look. The fashion brand will leave the store to take a larger unit, the 35,000 sq ft, two-level former Woolworths store.

Already trading in the scheme are Next, HMV, TK Maxx and WHSmith.

Property agency Savills acted for The Mall, while Primark was represented by Hartnell Taylor Cook and CBRE acted for New Look.
