La Senza has appointed agency Diffusion to develop a social media strategy. The lingerie retailer hopes to drive traffi, increase online sales, and provide customer insight for the rest of the business. In addition to managing the brand’s presence on social media platforms, the agency will run an “influencer-relations” campaign communicate with fashion bloggers.

The online books giant’s app for the Apple device is propelling Kindle, according to a survey of the digital book market by Cowen and Co. Sales of the Amazon Kindle device expected to grow 140% this year, and digital book sales via its store are expected to grow 195% in 2010.
