Located in Het Sieraad, a historic building with an expansive atrium and canal views in de Baarsjes in west Amsterdam, lies a handful of rails of luxury clothing from brand Martan’s upcoming collection. But there’s something rather unusual about the fabric behind the clothes – it’s made from discarded textile waste from the hotel industry (think used tablecloths and bed sheets).
